# vCPU

Подключать vCPUs можно в «горячем» режиме. «Горячее» подключение означает включение или отключение устройств во время работы ВМ.

Важно: «горячее» отключение vCPU поддерживается только в том случае, если vCPU ранее был подключен в «горячем» режиме. vCPUs ВМ не могут быть оперативно отключены от меньшего количества vCPUs, чем было изначально создано.

Применяются следующие предварительные условия:

* ОС ВМ должна быть явно установлена в окнах «New Virtual Machine» или «Edit Virtual Machine»;
* ОС ВМ должна поддерживать «горячую» замену CPU;
* на ВМ Windows должны быть установлены гостевые агенты.

Для «горячего» подключения vCPUs необходимо:

1. Перейти «Compute» -> «Virtual Machines» и выбрать работающую ВМ;
2. Нажать «Edit»;
3. Перейти на вкладку «System»;
4. При необходимости изменить значение виртуальных сокетов («Virtual Sockets»);
5. Нажать «OK».
